Visit Yathra Weaving Centre in Chumey Valley.
In Trongsa visit Trongsa Dzong (built in 1648) and Ta-Dzong, the royal watchtower (built in 1652).

After breakfast drive to Punakha.
Stop at Chendbji Chorten, built in Nepalese stupa style.
Cross the Pele-La Pass (3,300m / 10,830 ft).
Before reaching Punakha, enjoy an easy walk through paddy fields to visit Chimi Lhakhang — the fertility temple of the Divine Madman.

Morning hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten.
Later visit Punakha Dzong.
Afternoon drive to Thimpu via Dochula Pass (3,080m).
Before reaching the city, visit Simtokha Dzong.
